Skills Development Scotland Careers Service
Perth High School has 4 dedicated Careers Advisers who are on hand to support and provide advice and guidance on pathways and routes within your career journey. We can help you to understand and develop your Career Management Skills. We can offer advice on: deciding pathways, course choice, subject choices, guidance on what to do next, where to go to study or work, applications, CVs, and much more!
Our approach focuses on four key themes
- Self - Achieving a clear understanding of who you are, what is important to you and how you fit into the world around you
- Strengths - Developing an understanding of what you're good at and how you can use your strengths
- Horizons - Learning to visualise, plan and achieve career aspirations throughout your entire working life
- Networks - Understanding the importance of work and social relationships in building your career.
We can work with all year groups within school but mainly focus on S4, S5 and S6. S2 & S3 can request appointments via the channels below.
